A flashback to our original "Agent Monitoring System", which eventually led to the development of Virtual Observer, made big news in 1999 when it was deemed "Siemens Ready".

East Hartford, CT., September 27, 1999 -- Coordinated Systems, Inc. announced today that its Agent Monitoring System is "Siemens Ready." The Agent Monitoring System is an advanced software solution for versatile call center agent monitoring, integrating seamlessly with most major PBXs.

The Siemens Ready testing, conducted at Siemens Information and Communication Networks’ CTI lab in Santa Clara, Calif., verified that Agent Monitoring System can be used seamlessly with Siemens’ Hicom® 300 E version 6.5 communications server (PBX). Only those products that meet Siemens’ standards for telephony interoperability may display the Siemens Ready logo.

Agent Monitoring System was designed as a management tool for call center management to implement monitoring schedules, "record" sessions and play back hundreds of interactive events. Combining two distinct feature sets Agent Monitoring System provides user flexibility associated with the daily routine of monitoring and recording agent and customer interaction. The feature sets includes the capability to record ‘now’ for immediate playback and review or to schedule sessions for future recording and playback. The system load capacity tolerates up to 32,000 distinct recording events. All sessions are stored in familiar Windows .wav file format. The software runs on a Pentium PC (non-dedicated) with 32mb of ram running Windows 95, 98 or NT 4.0.

The Siemens Ready program provides technical and marketing support to third parties at all stages of their product concept and development process. Siemens Ready aids developers and Siemens customers in their efforts by making available a variety of tools and documentation and through its special developers' on-line bulletin board (BBS).
